I have learned how to put all the stuff and make something really kewl! It is so cool seeing all the different pieces and how you put them together! It is hard working with a team because sometimes the other people don't do anything and while the other people do most of it. But when you ask them they will help!!
So far this project has been amazing. Our group sometimes does not work well together though. I think that we are all at fault for that because some of us play with gears while others build the robot, although sometimes some of us aren't the greatest members of the team either because we are control freaks. (That would be me.) I have learned that the VEX robots take a long time but we will be rewarded for our efforts by a very hard to break, awesome, well-programmed robot that will be able to do several different things and will be awesome.
I have learned that our motors actually don't actually turn the wheels, they turn gears and the gears turn shafts, the shafts turn the wheels. In our robots, everything works together to make things work. In our group I hope that we will all work together and make our robot work. (That was a Disney Chanel line for you.)
I think that working with the Vex system can be very fun. It is a challenge, but i have my friends to help. It's group work, we have to work as a team. I have learned that this project will go a lot faster if evryone cooperates and works together.
